Eyeballing your ducks? A red-tailed hawk landed on our chicken tractor this winter and glared balefully between its talons at our chickens huddled inside. It was quite a hilarious stand-off…:)
Snowdrops are up and that’s about it. This week is supposed to be in the 60s all week, so I’m thinking of getting my hand rake out and getting at the oak leaves mulching my front perennial bed. The snow plows tossed it full of road gravel. Eager-to-get-outdoors!!!

A red-tail! Jeez, we don’t have anything that big around here…yet! Your hens are lucky to be well-housed!!! PS, any crocuses up over your way yet?
