Chive Time

After so many months without greenery, always a thrill to see the first shoots in our herb garden from hardy perennials like chives.  And once the leaves fully emerge, those lavender blossoms cannot be far behind.  Oops!  Already here!  Time to toss everything with a few chive florets and make that once-a-year-only chive vinegar for lovely chive vinaigrette.  Try this recipe to make your own.
