Our ducks don’t really know from (real) snow. This heavy, wet stuff that fell on not-even-frozen ground, came fast, left even faster. But, hey, no shoveling necessary!

Ducks discussing odd weather at the water cooler.

Muddy duck.

Raced the rabbit yesterday. Won by a hare.

Wow! I wish I had ducks, that would be awesome! That must be so cool to have them 🙂
Thx! We love our ducks!!! Maybe one day you can have some, too. Check out my article in Backyard Poultry Magazine Dec ’12 ish for more info on what it’s like to share your home with waterfowl.
Thanks for dropping by the blog!
Slush from the skies isn’t too bad. Much better than ice.
Wintry mix, they called it. Snow/sleet/rain becoming slush on the ground. I don’t miss shoveling but I do miss sledding!
