We weren’t sure this Rose of Sharon would thrive in the NY climate (in LA they seemed to do very well) but I really wanted it, so tried anyway. First year, it needed a little extra love but this spring– after good mulching and two years of organic gardening, it just took off. Fingers crossed, we’ve got a keeper.
