Snorts! Amen and I agree. Do you know what else is hell? We were in the backyard over the weekend enjoying the heat of the sun. Someone in the hood was burning and all of the smoke was coming our way. We couldn’t enjoy our nature… or play with my Bigfoot. Tsk Tsk. XOXO – Bacon

I hate leaf blowers! The only reason people use them is to avoid useful exercise, and so that they’ll have time to go to the gym to work out. makes no sense to me.
I have said the same thing about gyms! That’s too funny!!! 🙂
In these parts, everyone has lawn crews every week of the year. The crews run multiple mowers, edgers and blowers at the same time. From Wednesday’s on that is all that is heard in the neighborhood. I feel your pain!
I hear yours! 🙂 PS, we have a local ordinance against doing what you describe but it is typically ignored. *sigh*

LOL…I played that twice because I just LOVED IT!!! I laughed the first time so hard–that is ALL my neighbors + my husband on occassion:-( I HATE THOSE THINGS….too funny…thank you for sharing!
Yay!!! Thanks!!! I hesitated to use such strong words (in English, less elegant somehow!) but then a bunch of leaf blowers fired up outside and, eh bien, I went with it. 😉
grrrrr…my one neighbor just blows her leaves back to the other neighbors yard..one fall she was blowing them to the middle of the street and a big win came by-lol-it was too funny not to gawk out the window—I like her as a person, but her addiction to her leaf blower just drives me mad! I use a broom or rake..what happened to using those tools!
I also use a leaf-sweeper…no pollutants, a little bit o’ exercise, what’s not to like? 🙂

Have leaf blowers been banned anywhere yet???
Very good question! There are lots of restrictions often flagrantly ignored so it seems that it’s not just about laws but about enforcement. A cultural shift is required, I think. Fingers crossed there’s not too much snow this year and we’ll get a bit of a break until March or April.
