Very nice
Thanks! 🙂
Love that first plant. It looks like a octopus almost. Plus, the movie Escape From New York is awesome!! 🙂
😀 !
beautiful! XOXO – Bacon
I miss the warm weather already…did you guys get any more cold stuff last week?
Just rain, rain, more rain, rain, lots of rain. Rained all day yesterday. Warm today and guess what. Cold and more rain later on in the week. That Mother Nature is one wicked tramp. XOXO – Bacon
Awww, what would we do without her, tho? 😉
This is true. She is fickle but does help *sometimes*. XOXO – Bacon
NAWWWWW!!!
Thanks for your kindness! 🙂 (PS, the locals told us their weather has been very strange, too. Record lows a few weeks ago. And that California drought…crazy hot in L.A. the day we passed through.)
Well done!
Thanks!!!
What’s all that color? I’m still seeing white and grey. Lucky you–hope you had fun.
We were very lucky to be able to escape–esp. with (another) snow day while we were gone! It felt surreal. Meanwhile, after the melt, crocuses! Daffodil and tulip tips, too. Do you guys have anything peeking out yet?
My honeysuckle bush has tiny leaves just waiting . . . but nothing else yet. We did get 2 1/2 gallons of maple syrup this past weekend which is very nice.
Glad you had a nice trip.
That’s a lot of maple syrup–knowing that you have to boil it down to get that much, you must have very productive trees! 🙂
If you left the Northeast for anywhere that has palm trees, my only thought is why didn’t I hitch a ride too. 🙂
😀 !
I hope that you’re bringing some of that home with you!
Never fear–our spring is coming!
No, I can’t blame you, Lori. Have fun.
Thanks!!! 🙂
Too bad you were extradited back to NY. 🙂
Is that what happens in that movie? I never saw it but just hadda nab that title! 🙂
In the movie, NYC was a federal prison. The president was played by Donald Pleasance. AF One had crashed in NYC and Snake Pilsson, played by Kurt Russell, was sent to retrieve the president. In the end, Pilsson saved the president. The movie hasn’t replayed the movie in ages. They would be scrapping the bottom of the barrel if it is replayed ever again.
Frankly, I’m surprised that no one’s tried to remake it! (And wasn’t there an LA version, too?)
I think a remake was made but went straight to DVD. It must have been a stinker. An LA version was made, but don’t know if they got Kurt Russell to reprise his role. If he did, the studio probably threw a lot money at him.
Ooooh, where did you go? Mexico? I was going to say California, I recognize those ferns with the little dots on the back of the leaves, but then I spied what look like those tropical umbrellas with the dried palms on them (at least that’s how they kinda look in the picture). I hope you had a great time.
We went thru L.A. (and a terrible heat wave) and continued on to…Hawaii. It’s a really long haul from NY but after this winter (still in progress, apparently), totally worth it!!!
Nice! I bet you really appreciated the tropical weather!
And how! 🙂
