Remember those poor early leaves in January?* Before all that snow? And cold? And more snow?
PS, can someone get that Barry Manilow song out of my head now? Please?
*That’s okay. Neither can I.

Beautiful flower. Is that an allium?
‘Tis indeed! And I didn’t realize this when I bought the giant globe varietal that first year–they divided and the heads got smaller on each subsequent bloom. So they are gradually naturalizing–very gradually–but still lovely even with the less giant size. 🙂
Purple is the color for the week 🙂 “I’m ready to take a chance again, ready to put my love on the line with you”. XOXO – Bacon
Sing it Bacon, baby!!! 🙂
Is the Barry song, “Poor January Leaves”? 🙂
Yes. I believe “Autumn Leaves” was already taken. 😉
They’re beautiful! I’m glad they pulled through and that you shared them with us.
Thanks! They were very well-mulched with our hard-working autumn leaves so I think they just took a nap for a month or so and tried again. 🙂
Gorgeous!
I will say thank you on behalf of the bulbs. They did all the hard work! 🙂
Well, the photos you took of them are gorgeous too! 😉
😀 !
Lovely!
It’s official: Summer has landed!
