I think your young robin may be a female blackbird. I think our robins are smaller than your American ones.
Thanks for the ID! I wasn’t sure (hence the question mark) and it didn’t stop to tell me it’s name. 🙂 PS, the reverse is true in the States. Our blackbirds are thinner and our robins bigger. As we modeled our birds’ names on British birds, it does seem rather contrary, doesn’t it?!
It does:)
PS Hope you had lovely time in London:)
Quick trip to visit friends but, yes, we did! Could not get over how changed it is, though. I went to school there in the, gulp, ’80’s, and can barely recognize the town for all the construction sites/new buildings! Very impressed with how well public transportation works, btw. Cleaner and more efficient than many large cities. And we had a delicious meal at a randomly chosen Italian restaurant. All in all, a very nice time!
So that explains why you didn’t respond back to mom’s email 🙂 HA – Barks! Hope you get rested and are ready to fly again in your bloggy. ❤ Houdini
Did you guys email me??? I did not get (or it got lost in spam filter–always possible!) Please re-send!!! (Now I’m curious. 🙂 )
I’ll find it and resend it for Bacon, no worries. ❤ Houdini
I hope that your ducks didn’t become jealous while you were oogling the other birds! 😉
LOL!!! 😀 !
