Another lovely shot. I recently had some pea shoots and leaves as a side dish at a restaurant. They were so good! I just planted a garden this past weekend, very late in the year…long story…Anyway, I will have to plant peas next year.

What kind of birds? Squirrels, raccoons, impatient husbands–didn’t realize birds would go after peas, too! 😉

First came the chickens, then the ducks and finally the dogs–they all love peas! So do goats, but I don’t let them get a glimpse of the garden. We had a decent amount–just harvested the last. We ate all the snap peas and froze the English peas. I’m set on making good mushy peas like I had in England, but no one else is happy about it. 🙂
